Garrett Touchet joined Recon Analytics in June 2026 as Analyst and Director, where he is responsible for conducting research and developing actionable insights powered by Recon’s proprietary consumer survey data. He leads business development efforts across Recon’s AI, Airline, and Financial Services verticals, helping clients translate large-scale survey intelligence into strategic decisions. Drawing on a decade of experience advising senior executives across the telecommunications and energy industries, Garrett brings a rare combination of corporate strategy depth and hands-on analytical rigor to his work at Recon.
Prior to joining Recon, Garrett spent over three years at Charter Communications as a Director of Product Strategy, where he served as a strategic advisor to executive clients across the product, technology, public policy, and legal organizations. In this role, he led and contributed to a broad range of high-priority initiatives, including wireless scenario planning, satellite and fixed wireless capacity modeling, customer data monetization, partnership frameworks and strategy, mobile wholesale negotiation support, and AI tool evaluation and integration. Before Charter, Garrett spent four years at AT&T in a series of corporate finance, strategy, and product roles, building foundational expertise in how large carriers think about competitive positioning, capital allocation, and product development. Prior to AT&T, Garrett spent nearly three years at SLB, the world’s largest oilfield services firm, facilitating a foreign exchange currency hedging program and executive reporting packages.
Over his career, Garrett has developed deep expertise in the forces reshaping the telecommunications landscape, including fixed/mobile convergence, LEO satellite broadband, satellite direct-to-device, fixed wireless access, licensed and unlicensed spectrum strategy, the mobile wholesale landscape, M&A competitive implications, and mobile value-added services. This breadth of experience gives him an informed perspective on how service providers, technology companies, and new market entrants compete for customers, partner for growth, and allocate capital.
Garrett earned his Master of Business Administration from the SMU Cox School of Business, graduating with honors, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Louisiana State University.
